So far, we found very little information about Brick House. The little that we've found leads us believe that the community is historic.<1>

While we don't have the exact location of Brick House , we believe that it would have been located within present day Cedar County<2>.

While we don't have a date for the founding of Brick House, you might consider that their post office opened in 1865.

The earliest source we've referenced which mentioned Brick House was in the document titled List of Post Offices from Cameron Blevins and Richard Helbock.<3>

From that list, the Brick House post office opened in 1865. The Brick House post office closed in 1866.
