Welcome to Zidon ...So far, we found very little information about Zidon. The location of Zidon has been provided by the Geographic Names Information System (ie- the GNIS).<3> While we don't have a date for the founding of Zidon, you might consider that their post office opened in 1902. While the community is gone, the present day location for Zidon is 650 feet [198 m] above sea level.<4>. Time Zone: The area where Zidon was located is in the Eastern Time Zone (EST/EDT) and observes daylight saving time If Zidon still existed, it would have been in the (706) and (762)<5> area codes.
