Welcome to Youngcane ...

So far, we found very little information about Youngcane. The little that we've found leads us believe that the community is historic.<1>

Youngcane would have been located within present day Union County<2>.


The location of Youngcane has been provided by the Geographic Names Information System (ie- the GNIS).<3>


While we don't have a date for the founding of Youngcane, you might get a feel for it by knowing that the earliest mention that we've found (so far) was in a book dated 1895.

From the  Census Estimates for 2019, Youngcane has a population of 1,661 people<4> (see below for details).

While the community is gone, the present day location for Youngcane is 1,930 feet [588 m] above sea level.<5>.

Time Zone: The area where Youngcane was located is in the Eastern Time Zone (EST/EDT) and observes daylight saving time

From our notes, the earliest published mention we've found for Youngcane was in the book titled Business Atlas and Shippers' Guide (1895).
