Welcome to Time ...

So far, we found very little information about Time. The little that we've found leads us believe that the community is historic.<1>

We've added Time to our Gazetteer with the hope that we can develop more information. We would especially like to find the location of Time - knowing its coordinates, we can explore things like its relationship to neighboring communities, nearby cemeteries, etc. If you can help us with Time, please Contact Us.

While we don't have the exact location of Time , we believe that it would have been located within present day Hall County<2>.

While we don't have a date for the founding of Time, you might consider that their post office opened in 1893.

Time Zone: The area where Time was located is in the Eastern Time Zone (EST/EDT) and observes daylight saving time

The location where Time once stood is in the (770) area code.

Communities Also Named Time ...

Using our Gazetteer, we found that there are 3 communities that are also named Time - they are located in Illinois, Kansas and Pennsylvania.

The earliest source we've referenced which mentioned Time was in the document titled List of Post Offices from Cameron Blevins and Richard Helbock.<3>

From that list, the Time post office opened in 1893.

We also found Time on a map titled Rand McNally Map of Georgia (1911).
