So far, we found very little information about Okitiyakni. The little that we've found leads us believe that the community is historic.<1>

We've added Okitiyakni to our Gazetteer with the hope that we can develop more information. While we don't have the exact location of Okitiyakni , we believe that it would have been located within present day Quitman County<2>.
