<1>	While Maridale Estates is in the Eastern Time Zone, the area just to the south is in the Central Time Zone (CST/CDT).

In this case, the 706 code has been Overlayed with the 762 area code. New phone numbers in the Maridale Estates area will be assigned with one of these codes: 706 or 762. As a result, placing a call in the Maridale Estates area will require 10-digit dialing (where you enter both the area code and then the phone number).
