Taken from the 2019 Census Estimates, Jake had an population of 146 people. This is a decrease of 5.81% since the 2010 Census (or a decrease of 7.01% since the 2000 Census).

With a 2010 count of 155 people, the population of Jake decreased 1.27% from the 2000 Census (with a count of 157 people).

From our notes, the earliest published mention we've found for Jake was in the document titled List of Post Offices from Cameron Blevins and Richard Helbock.<7>

From that list, the Jake post office opened in 1898.

We also found Jake on a map (with an unknown title) dated 1910.
