While our initial data about Guild came from various goverment sources (GNIS, FIPS), we also found mention of Guild in various books, maps and other sources. When we find a mention, a fact or snippet, we add that information to our Gazetter.

Guild is contained in a comprehensive list of Post Offices that was created by Cameron Blevins and Richard Helbock.<1>

From that list:

The Guild post office opened in 1889 and had closed by 1906.
