The location of Albert has been provided by the Geographic Names Information System (ie- the GNIS).<3> While we don't have a date for the founding of Albert, you might consider that their post office opened in 1903. While the community is gone, the present day location for Albert is 1,290 feet [393 m] above sea level.<4>. Time Zone: The area where Albert was located is in the Eastern Time Zone (EST/EDT) and observes daylight saving time If Albert still existed, it would have been in the (706) & (762)<5> area codes.
