Miscellaneous References and MentionsWhile our initial information about Seminole came from various goverment sources (GNIS, US Census, FIPS), we also found mention of Seminole in various books and other sources. We've created the following list to keep track of the sources that proved useful in adding to our knowledge about Seminole. We hope that they will be useful to you. Note: Initially, we were careless about keeping track of where our Seminole data came from. The following list of references and mentions is incomplete. Seminole is contained in a comprehensive list of Post Offices that was created by Cameron Blevins and Richard Helbock.<1> From that list: The Seminole post office opened in 1886.
