Welcome to Jane Jay ...

So far, we found very little information about Jane Jay. The little that we've found leads us believe that the community is historic.<1>

We've added Jane Jay to our Gazetteer with the hope that we can develop more information. While we don't have the exact location of Jane Jay , we believe that it would have been located within present day Polk County<2>.

While we don't have a date for the founding of Jane Jay, you might get a feel for it by knowing that the earliest mention that we've found (so far) was in a book dated 1895.
