From our notes, the earliest published mention we've found for Joes was in the document titled List of Post Offices from Cameron Blevins and Richard Helbock.<7>

X2X - From that list, the Joes post office opened in 1912.

We also found Joes mentioned on a train schedule titled Trailways Santa Fe Bus Time Table (July 1945).
