While we don't have a date for the founding of Duncan, you might consider that their post office opened in 1892. While the community is gone, the present day location for Duncan is 8,110 feet [2,472 m] above sea level.<3> In other words, the elevation of Duncan is about 1½ mile [or ~2½ km] above sea level. Time Zone: The area where Duncan was located is in the Mountain Time Zone (MST/MDT) and observes daylight saving time If Duncan still existed, it would have been in the (719) area code.
