Welcome to Stedman ...So far, we found very little information about Stedman. The location of Stedman has been provided by the Geographic Names Information System (ie- the GNIS).<3> While we don't have a date for the founding of Stedman, you might consider that their post office opened in 1904. While the community is gone, the present day location for Stedman is 2,380 feet [725 m] above sea level.<4> In other words, the elevation of Stedman is about ½ mile above sea level.
