Welcome to Shealy ...

So far, we found very little information about Shealy. The little that we've found leads us believe that the community is historic.<1>

We've added Shealy to our Gazetteer with the hope that we can develop more information. We would especially like to find the location of Shealy - knowing its coordinates, we can explore things like its relationship to neighboring communities, nearby cemeteries, etc. If you can help us with Shealy, please Contact Us.

While we don't have the exact location of Shealy , we believe that it would have been located within present day Mono County<2>.

While we don't have a date for the founding of Shealy, you might get a feel for it by knowing that the earliest mention that we've found (so far) was in a book dated 1895.

Time Zone: The area where Shealy was located is in the Pacific Time Zone (PST/PDT) and observes daylight saving time

The earliest source we've referenced which mentioned Shealy was in the book titled Business Atlas and Shippers' Guide (1895).

We also found Shealy in the book titled SPV's Comprehensive Railroad Atlas of North America - California & Nevada.
