Taken from the 2019 Census Estimates, Sand City had an population of 431 people. This is an increase of 29.04% since the 2010 Census (or an increase of 65.13% since the 2000 Census).

At the time of the 2010 Census, Sand City had a population of 334 people. This makes Sand City the county's 12th most populous community.

With a 2010 count of 334 people, the population of Sand City increased 27.97% from the 2000 Census (with a count of 261 people).
