Mono County ...

While we don't have the exact location of Pine City, we believe that it would have been located within present day Mono County<1>.

The following counties adjoin and form the boundaries of Mono County: Alpine, Fresno, Inyo, Madera, Tuolumne, Douglas (NV), Esmeralda (NV), Lyon (NV) & Mineral (NV). The western boundary of the county is defined by the Sierra Nevada Mountains.
