Welcome to Mocalno ...

So far, we found very little information about Mocalno. The little that we've found leads us believe that the community is historic.<1>

We've added Mocalno to our Gazetteer with the hope that we can develop more information. We would especially like to find the location of Mocalno - knowing its coordinates, we can explore things like its relationship to neighboring communities, nearby cemeteries, etc. If you can help us with Mocalno, please Contact Us.

While we don't have the exact location of Mocalno , we believe that it would have been located within present day Mono County<2>.

While we don't have a date for the founding of Mocalno, you might consider that their post office opened in 1915.

Time Zone: The area where Mocalno was located is in the Pacific Time Zone (PST/PDT) and observes daylight saving time

The earliest source we've referenced which mentioned Mocalno was in the book titled Business Atlas and Shippers' Guide (1895).

We also found Mocalno in the book titled .<4> X3X - From that list, the Mocalno post office opened in 1915.
