While we don't have the exact location of Markham Station, we believe that it would have been located within present day Sonoma County<1>.

The following counties adjoin and form the boundaries of Sonoma County: Contra Costa, Lake, Marin, Mendocino, Napa & Solano. The western boundary of the county is on the Pacific Ocean and the southeastern boundary is on San Francisco Bay.
