So far, we found very little information about Girard. The little that we've found leads us believe that the community is historic.<1>

Girard would have been located within present day Kern County<2>.

While we don't have a date for the founding of Girard, you might get a feel for it by knowing that the earliest mention that we've found (so far) was in a book dated 1895.

Time Zone: The area where Girard was located is in the Pacific Time Zone (PST/PDT) and observes daylight saving time
