While our initial information about Echo Lake came from various goverment sources (GNIS, FIPS), we also found mention of Echo Lake in various books and other sources.
We've created the following list to keep track of the sources that proved useful in adding to our knowledge about Echo Lake. We hope that they will be useful to you.
Note: Initially, we were careless about keeping track of where our Echo Lake data came from. The following list of references and mentions is incomplete.
Echo Lake is contained in a comprehensive list of Post Offices that was created by Cameron Blevins and Richard Helbock.<1>
From that list:
The Echo Lake post office opened in 1926 and had closed by 1960.
