We aren't confident of the location of Coram, so consider the above location as an estimate.<3> Coram was established in 1906 and was incorporated in 1910. The origin (or the toponymy) of Coram: Named after Joseph Coram, one of the owners of the Balaklala Mine & Smelter Company. While the community is gone, the present day location for Coram is 600 feet [183 m] above sea level.<4>. Time Zone: The area where Coram was located is in the Pacific Time Zone (PST/PDT) and observes daylight saving time The location where Coram once stood is in the (530) area code.
