Welcome to Chrysopolis ...

So far, we found very little information about Chrysopolis. The little that we've found leads us believe that the community is historic.<1>

We've added Chrysopolis to our Gazetteer with the hope that we can develop more information. We would especially like to find the location of Chrysopolis - knowing its coordinates, we can explore things like its relationship to neighboring communities, nearby cemeteries, etc. If you can help us with Chrysopolis, please Contact Us.

While we don't have the exact location of Chrysopolis , we believe that it would have been located within present day Mono County<2>.

Time Zone: The area where Chrysopolis was located is in the Pacific Time Zone (PST/PDT) and observes daylight saving time

Using our Gazetteer, we found that there are two California communities named Chrysopolis: This one is located in Mono County and the other is located in Inyo County.

However, it can also mean that the community might still exist, but was significantly larger or had a more 'official' existence in the past than it does now.
