So far, we found very little information about Troy. The little that we've found leads us believe that the community is historic.<1>

Troy would have been located within present day Pinal County<2>.
While we don't have a date for the founding of Troy, you might consider that their post office opened in 1901.
When the people of Troy referred to themselves (known as a demonym), they are believed to have used Trojan<3>
While the community is gone, the present day location for Troy is 3,630 feet [1,106 m] above sea level.<4> In other words, the altitude of Troy is about ¾ mile [or ~1¼ km] above sea level.
Time Zone: The area where Troy was located is in the Mountain Standard Time Zone (MST) and does not observe daylight saving time

From our notes, the earliest published mention we've found for Troy was in the document titled List of Post Offices from Cameron Blevins and Richard Helbock.<7>
