From our notes, the earliest published mention we've found for Rowood was in the document titled List of Post Offices from Cameron Blevins and Richard Helbock.<5>
From that list, the Rowood post office opened in 1918.
We also found Rowood on a map titled Shell Oil Road Map for Arizona (1956).
