Welcome to Owens ...

So far, we found very little information about Owens. The little that we've found leads us believe that the community is historic.<1>

We've added Owens to our Gazetteer with the hope that we can develop more information. We would especially like to find the location of Owens - knowing its coordinates, we can explore things like its relationship to neighboring communities, nearby cemeteries, etc. If you can help us with Owens, please Contact Us.

While we don't have the exact location of Owens , we believe that it would have been located within present day Mohave County<2>.

While we don't have a date for the founding of Owens, you might consider that their post office opened in 1899.

The origin (or the toponymy) of Owens: Named after 'Chloride Jack' Owens, co-discoverer of the McCracken Mine.

Time Zone: The area where Owens was located is in the Mountain Standard Time Zone (MST) and does not observe daylight saving time

The Area Code where Owens was located: 928
