While we don't have a date for the founding of Kingman, you might get a feel for it by knowing that the earliest mention that we've found (so far) was in a book dated 1895.

At the time of the 2010 Census, Kingman had a population of 28,068 people (which is 14.01% of the total population of Mohave County). This makes Kingman the county's 3rd most populous community.

The population of Kingman represents 0.44% of the population of Arizona (which has 6,392,017 people), making it the state's 27th most populous community.

With a 2010 count of 28,068 people, the population of Kingman increased 39.86% from the 2000 Census (with a count of 20,069 people).
