Welcome to Cottonwood ...

So far, we found very little information about Cottonwood. The little that we've found leads us believe that the community is historic.<1>

We've added Cottonwood to our Gazetteer with the hope that we can develop more information. We would especially like to find the location of Cottonwood - knowing its coordinates, we can explore things like its relationship to neighboring communities, nearby cemeteries, etc. If you can help us with Cottonwood, please Contact Us.


While we don't have the exact location of Cottonwood , we believe that it would have been located within present day Cochise County<2>.

When the people of Cottonwood referred to themselves (known as a demonym), they are believed to have used Cottonwoodite<3>

Time Zone: The area where Cottonwood was located is in the Mountain Standard Time Zone (MST) and does not observe daylight saving time

The Area Code where Cottonwood was located: 520

While we believe that this Cottonwood is located in Cochise County, we know of another 3 Arizona communities named Cottonwood. Those communities are located in the following counties: Apache, Pinal and Yavapai County.
