Welcome to Scotia ...So far, we found very little information about Scotia. The location of Scotia has been provided by the Geographic Names Information System (ie- the GNIS).<3> While we don't have a date for the founding of Scotia, you might consider that their post office opened in 1830. While the community is gone, the present day location for Scotia is 370 feet [113 m] above sea level.<4>.
