How Far From Red Neck to ...

We spend a lot of time looking through Gazetteers that were published in the late 1800's and early 1900's. Many of the Gazetteers include the distance from a community such as Red Neck to various places of note, such as the White House.

With a nod to our favorite Gazetteers and using the location of where the historic<1> community of Red Neck once stood, the straight-line distance<2> beginning in Red Neck and extending to:

  • Monticello, which is the Seat of Drew County, lies just to the North Northeast.
  • Little Rock, which is the State Capital of Arkansas, lies 87 miles [140 km]<2> to the north northwest (NNW). If you could drive a straight line from Red Neck to Little Rock, with an average speed<3>of 63 miles [101.4 km] per hour, it would take less than two hours to make the trip.
