Leigo was located in the Arkansas Ozarks.

While we don't have a date for the founding of Leigo, you might consider that their post office opened in 1918.
While the community is gone, the present day location for Leigo is 2,130 feet [649 m] above sea level.<4> In other words, the altitude of Leigo is about ½ mile above sea level.

From our notes, the earliest published mention we've found for Leigo was in the document titled List of Post Offices from Cameron Blevins and Richard Helbock.<6>
From that list, the Leigo post office opened in 1918.
