The Commemorative Quarter for Alabama

Do you know of Cox's Mill ???

This page is an orphan - a placeholder until we can discover more about Cox's Mill. When we encounter a name that is new to us, we add it to our Gazetteer with the hope that we'll discover more information in the future. Such is the case with Cox's Mill.<1>

Our sources for Cox's Mill (see Mentions and References below) indicate that it was a community with a post office by the same name. Unfortunately our sources aren't clear about the location of Cox's Mill other than they indicate that Cox's Mill would be found somewhere in Barbour County, Alabama.

From the Blevins / Hellbock List: The post office opened  in 1877 and closed  in 1893.

Miscellaneous References and Mentions for Cox's Mill ...

A note taken from the Shipper's Guide for Cox's Mill - Services available: had a Post Office, no Railroad mentioned
