Taken from the 2019 Census Estimates, Cashion had an population of 885 people. This is an increase of 10.35% since the 2010 Census (or an increase of 39.37% since the 2000 Census).

At the time of the 2010 Census, Cashion had a population of 802 people (or 5.33% of the total population of Kingfisher County). This makes Cashion the county's 3rd most populous community.

The population of Cashion represents 0.02% of the total population of Oklahoma (which has 3,751,351 people), making it the state's 256th most populous community.

With a 2010 count of 802 people, the population of Cashion increased 26.3% from the 2000 Census (which had a count of 635 people).

From our notes, the earliest published mention we've found for Cashion was in the document titled List of Post Offices from Cameron Blevins and Richard Helbock.<7>

From that list, the Cashion post office opened in 1900.

We also found Cashion on a map titled Rand McNally Map of Oklahoma (1911).
