Welcome to Carp ...So far, we found very little information about Carp. While we don't have a date for the founding of Carp, you might consider that their post office opened in 1925. While the community is gone, the present day location for Carp is 2,570 feet [783 m] above sea level.<3> In other words, the elevation of Carp is about ½ mile above sea level. Time Zone: The area where Carp was located is in the Pacific Time Zone (PST/PDT) and observes daylight saving time Carp would have been located in the (775) area code. The community of Carp was previously named Cliffdale.
