Paradise is located in Sanders County<1> (at the time of its founding, Paradise was located in Missoula County).


The location of Paradise has been provided by the Geographic Names Information System (ie- the GNIS).<2>


While we don't have a date for the founding of Paradise, you might consider that their post office opened  in 1907.

Paradise is 2,500 feet [762 m] above sea level.<3> In other words, the altitude of Paradise is about ½ mile above sea level.

Time Zone: Paradise lies in the Mountain Time Zone (MST/MDT) and observes daylight saving time

Note: If you travel west from Paradise (for example, toward Mullan (ID)), you will leave Mountain Time and cross into the Pacific Time Zone (PST/PDT).

From our notes, the earliest published mention we've found for Paradise was in the book titled Business Atlas and Shippers' Guide (1895).

We also found Paradise in the book titled .<5> From that list, the Paradise post office opened in 1907.
