At the time of the 2010 Census, Huntingburg had a population of 6,057 people (which is 14.46% of the total population of Dubois County). This makes Huntingburg the county's 2nd most populous community.

The population of Huntingburg represents 0.09% of the population of Indiana (which has 6,483,802 people), making it the state's 106th most populous community.
