Duncan would have been located within present day Saguache County<2>.

While we don't have a date for the founding of Duncan, you might consider that their post office opened  in 1892.

While the community is gone, the present day location for Duncan is 8,110 feet [2,472 m] above sea level.<3> In other words, the elevation of Duncan is about 1½ mile [or ~2½ km] above sea level.

Time Zone: The area where Duncan was located is in the Mountain Time Zone (MST/MDT) and observes daylight saving time

If Duncan still existed, it would have been in the (719) area code.

From our notes, the earliest published mention we've found for Duncan was in the document titled List of Post Offices from Cameron Blevins and Richard Helbock.<6>

From that list, the Duncan post office opened in 1892.
