The location of Tyler has been provided by the Geographic Names Information System (ie- the GNIS).<3> While we don't have a date for the founding of Tyler, you might consider that their post office opened in 1910. While the community is gone, the present day location for Tyler is 190 feet [58 m] above sea level.<4>.
