While the community is gone, the present day location for Alpha is 4,130 feet [1,259 m] above sea level.<4> In other words, the altitude of Alpha is about ¾ mile [or 1¼ km] above sea level.
Time Zone: The area where Alpha was located is in the Pacific Time Zone (PST/PDT) and observes daylight saving time
If Alpha still existed, it would have been in the (530) area code.
