The community of Jackson is the Seat for Teton County.
Teton County was founded in 1921 and was created by taking area from Lincoln County.
From the Census Estimates for 2019, <1> Teton had a population of 23,385 people. This is an increase of 9.82% since the last Census (which gave a population of 21,294 people in 2010).
At the time of the 2010 Census, Teton represented 3.78% of the total population of Wyoming.
