Welcome to Converse County ...Time Zone: Converse County lies in the Mountain Time Zone (MST/MDT) and observes daylight saving time. The community of Douglas is the Seat for Converse County. Converse County was founded in 1888. Converse was created by taking area from Albany and Laramie Counties. From the Census Estimates for 2019, <1> Converse had a population of 13,865 people. This is an increase of 0.23% since the last Census (which gave a population of 13,833 people in 2010). At the time of the 2010 Census, Converse represented 2.45% of the total population of Wyoming.
