Time Zone: Campbell County lies in the Mountain Time Zone (MST/MDT) and observes daylight saving time.

The community of Gillette is the Seat for Campbell County.

Campbell County was founded in 1911. Campbell was created by taking area from Weston and Crook Counties.

From the Census Estimates for 2019, <1> Campbell had a population of 46,420 people. This is an increase of 0.62% since the last Census (which gave a population of 46,133 people in 2010).

At the time of the 2010 Census, Campbell represented 8.19% of the total population of Wyoming.
