While we don't have a date for the founding of Fourteen, you might consider that their post office opened  in 1877.

While the community is gone, the present day location for Fourteen is 730 feet [223 m] above sea level.<4>.

Time Zone: The area where Fourteen was located is in the Eastern Time Zone (EST/EDT) and observes daylight saving time

We originally found mention of Fourteen in the GNIS. For more information, see the Referenced GNIS Codes section on our Miscellaneous Page.

From our notes, the earliest published mention we've found for Fourteen was in the document titled List of Post Offices from Cameron Blevins and Richard Helbock.<7>

From that list, the Fourteen post office opened in 1877.

We also found Fourteen in the book titled Business Atlas and Shippers' Guide (1895).
