While we don't have a date for the founding of Whiting, you might get a feel for it by knowing that during our research the earliest mention that we found (so far) was on a map dated 1956.

From the  Census Estimates for 2019, Whiting has a population of 1,706 people<3> (see below for details).

Taken from the 2019 Census Estimates, Whiting had an population of 1,706 people. This is a decrease of 1.04% since the 2010 Census (or a decrease of 3.07% since the 2000 Census).

At the time of the 2010 Census, Whiting had a population of 1,724 people. This makes Whiting the county's 7th most populous community.

The population of Whiting represents 0.03% of the total population of Wisconsin (which has 5,686,986 people), making it the state's 506th most populous community.

With a 2010 count of 1,724 people, the population of Whiting decreased 2.05% from the 2000 Census (which had a count of 1,760 people).
