While our initial information about Three Lakes came from various goverment sources (GNIS, FIPS), we also found mention of Three Lakes in various books, maps and other sources.

We've created the following list to keep track of the sources that proved useful in adding to our knowledge about Three Lakes. We hope that they will be useful to you.

Note: When we started collecting data about Three Lakes, we were inconsistent about keeping track of where that data came from. As a result, this list of references and mentions is probably incomplete.
