At the time of the 2010 Census, Readstown had a population of 415 people. This makes Readstown the county's 27th most populous community.

With a 2010 count of 415 people, the population of Readstown increased 5.06% from the 2000 Census (which had a count of 395 people).

From our notes, the earliest published mention we've found for Readstown was in the book titled Business Atlas and Shippers' Guide (1895).

We also found Readstown mentioned on a train schedule titled Greyhound Bus Time Table (November 1931).
