Taken from the 2019 Census Estimates, Prescott had an population of 4,297 people. This is an increase of 0.92% since the 2010 Census (or an increase of 14.16% since the 2000 Census).

At the time of the 2010 Census, Prescott had a population of 4,258 people (which is 10.38% of the total population of Pierce County). This makes Prescott the county's 2nd most populous community.

The population of Prescott represents 0.07% of the population of Wisconsin (which has 5,686,986 people), making it the state's 204th most populous community.

With a 2010 count of 4,258 people, the population of Prescott increased 13.12% from the 2000 Census (with a count of 3,764 people).
