Taken from the 2019 Census Estimates, Kenosha had an population of 100,045 people. This is an increase of 0.83% since the 2010 Census (or an increase of 10.73% since the 2000 Census).

At the time of the 2010 Census, Kenosha had a population of 99,218 people (or 59.62% of the total population of Kenosha County). This makes Kenosha the county's most populous community.

The population of Kenosha represents 1.74% of the population of Wisconsin (which has 5,686,986 people), making it the state's 4th most populous community.

With a 2010 count of 99,218 people, the population of Kenosha increased 9.81% from the 2000 Census (with a count of 90,352 people).

From our notes, the earliest published mention we've found for Kenosha was in the document titled List of Post Offices from Cameron Blevins and Richard Helbock.<7>

From that list, the Kenosha post office opened in 1850.

We also found Kenosha in the book titled Table of U.S. Post Offices in the United States (Jan. 1851).
