Taken from the 2019 Census Estimates, Ephraim had an population of 281 people. This is a decrease of 2.43% since the 2010 Census (or a decrease of 20.4% since the 2000 Census).

At the time of the 2010 Census, Ephraim had a population of 288 people. This makes Ephraim the county's 18th most populous community.

With a 2010 count of 288 people, the population of Ephraim decreased 18.41% from the 2000 Census (with a count of 353 people).

From our notes, the earliest published mention we've found for Ephraim was in the document titled List of Post Offices from Cameron Blevins and Richard Helbock.<7>

From that list, the Ephraim post office opened in 1861.

We also found Ephraim in the book titled List of Post Offices in the United States (1870).
