Unfortunately our sources aren't clear about the location of Burr other than they indicate that Burr would be found somewhere in Vernon County, Wisconsin. From the Blevins / Hellbock List: The post office opened in 1870 and closed in 1905. Communities Also Named Burr ...We found ten communities that share the name Burr. Within Wisconsin, the name Burr is unique. Beyond Wisconsin, we know of another ten communities that are located throughout in the United States and Canada. Of these ten communities, eight are located in the United States and two are in Canada.
